L1 to H1 status change

I came to USA on L1 Visa in to work for company A, i got a offer in another company B and they filed my H1 , with change of status. It got approved and status got changed with new I-94, but i could not join company B due to Non availability of project. In the mean while company A got aquired by Company C
and company C applied for new L1 petition. Now the new L1 petition applied by company C is approved .

Still i am with Company C and now i want to join company B.

1)Is my H1 status Valid after approved L1 , filed by Company C ?
2)Will the H1 status gets cancelled when L1 is approved ?
3)Now if i want to join Company B, do i need to get new H1 or the old H1 can be reinvoked ?

please advise

1) H1 is valid unless B cancelled it. However, you can not join them as your current status is L1 due to last action. YOu need to change your status.
2) Status is cancelled, visa/petition is not.
3) B has to apply I-129 as well as I539.
