L1 to H1- am confused

Hi

Will state my case:
Iam in usa on L1B visa from company A. company B had filed for my H1 workpermit and it is now approved.
I need to go back to india now on vacation, company A's L1 has expired and they have filed for another L1 and i will be having its stamping in india.

Now:
1) will there be any issue if i go for L1 stamping again since I already have an approved H1 workpermit from Company B
2) Can i come back on the L1 through company A and shift to company B.

L1 to H1 B transfer

1. There is no issue for you L1 stamping but your status will be changed again to L1 after stamping.

2. You can shift to H1B but before changing you need to apply for change of status which again costs normal H1 fee.

If you got your H1 paper with attached I-94, then your current status is H1.
It is better if you change the job nowitself on H1. Otherwise you need to pay the H1 fee for changing the status after entering in to USA.

and i think that I94 has come along with the H1.

So, now is it illegal to work for Company A?
