L1 - H4 query..please help!!!!

Hi,

I am currently working for a company in India with a stamped L1-B (individual) visa valid till Jun 2008. My husband is working in US with an H1-B visa. As, my company is delaying in sending me, I am planning to go for H4 and I have an appointment on Mar 29 in Chennai. Will there be any issue in the interview as I already have a stamped L1 visa (saying potential to work ....)? And will L1 get cancelled once I go for H4?

Please help.

You can always say, you quit from the company and want to join with spouse. Upon H4 issuance your L1 will be cancelled if you tell above reason.
