I used to work for Company A from whom I have a L1. They got bought out by Company B who are wanting to do a L1 transfer. While I was at Company A, I applied for a H1 through Company C which has come through now. Now, Company B claims that they cannot transfer me to the newly approved H1 unless I work for Company C.
The target state I am looking for at the end of the day is working for Company B with a H1. I am not in a position to start working for Company C and then come back to Company B that easily.
Is there something else that I could do?
