L1 from India, Landing as PR in canada, Working in US...

My brother, an Indian national is working in US on L1B visa and has recently got his PR visa for Canada and will be landing shortly with his family.

a. Can he still continue his work in US holding the same visa having residency in Canada? If not what visa should his company process for him?

b. Can he be in US for work during week days and travel to Canada during weekends? Will regular border crossings lead to any problems with either countries immigration authorities?

c. If his company in US agrees, can he work from home in Canada for the US company and what would be the immigration and tax complications involved in this scenario?

b. How does the tax thing work? Should he pay tax in both the countries?

I think I have typed all relevant questions above. If you could help me with answers for these and also with any other guidance/suggestions/options in this context is much appreciated.

Looking forward for your answers. Thankyou

A(a): Yes, for the first three years only. After that he needs to move to Canada permanently if he wants to keep his PR status. He will still need L-1B status to work in the US.
A(b): It will be better that he commutes daily, if he is up to it. That was each day will be counted by the Canadians as being in Canada.
A(c): As long as he has L-1B status, he can work from Canada. No immigration issues. He will need to file returns in both countries but will avoid double taxation. See below.
A(d): He will pay US taxes first. He will get credit for that tax paid. He will pay the balance tax to Canada since his US income will be declared as global income on his Canadian tax return. There are plenty of good tax professionals who deal with such scenarios on a daily basis.
