Hi
my L1 A is expiring in feb09, this was the last extension,i got 1+2+2, now i filed previously twice for I140 and was denied, on the basis that the attorneys who handled the case screwed it up, with diffrent kind of statements and documents with out my knowledge, which i came to know after I got my second denial with uscis in the letter what they send , i am trying for I140 again in next few weeks, but have lost hopes on attorney this is mine third attorney,my question is what other visa options i have to stay legally after my L1 Expires,my freinds say i can do labour , so whats that, I have my wife who is on L2,can i do labour certification of her, and how it is diffrent from I140, and will it give me or her the legal status after the L2 visa expires

1 -- your spouse does not hold L2 visa if your L1 has expired

2 -- what were reasons for your I-140 denial?

3 -- If your current visa is L1A, you actually have 7 years and not 5 years. L1B only has 5 years.

I have L1A and I have recieved 1year initial, then 2 times 2 years when renewed it twice,
I140 denied
1st lawyer showd as i was partner i foreign company, wheras i was just transfer of manager,he did all mess with the foreign company and us company documents,
2ND lawyer, didnt mentioned that my first case was denied, and didn;t ticked on the place where it shows foreign company as partner, so uscis wrote the final answer, showing lot of discrepancy in filings of both the timesand in diffrence of documents also cver letter by signed by me buth the lawyer changed the front pages as they usually does .
peple say i can do labour directly or my wife can do labour but iam not sure what they are talking about, i have my case with the third attorney, but he didnt want to talk about labour

Please consult a reputed attorney and explain the situation. Your problem is not simple that it be resolved with a mere advice.
