L1 - Blue Form 221(G)

Hi,

I have attended the interview for L1 Individual Visa on 7th Feb 2007. But my visa was suspended under section 221(G). And the following reasons has been checked in the form.


The petition being returned to USCIS for further review.Upon completion of this review USCIS will contact your petitioner. Please wait for a notification from the consulate before returning.

Last week i sent an email to the chennai consulate regarding my status of my application. I got the following reply from them.

Your case is still under admin process

Is this reply a normal one and will i get my visa. And also how much time will it take. Any idea? plzzzzzzzzzzz.

It seems the US consulate in Chennai believes that USCIS approved the L-1 petition in error. Thus they want USCIS to re-evaluate the petition. Your chances for an L-1 visa depend on what USCIS decideds upon re-evaluation.

L1A visa 221 g Blue form

I attended interview on march 1st 07 at chennai and got 221 g blue form to submit the company docs. I submitted docs on MAY 25th 07 thru VFS drop box.
For every 15 days once i used to send mail to chennai consulate to know the status.All the time they say its still admin process, alraedy 3 months is over.

Is sending mail to chennai consulate (to know the status ) delays the admin process????

Anybody in same situation??
