I have a question for my friend who is on a L-1 B visa. His visa expires in 7 months. He has applied for green card and has got his I-140 approved. He will be applying for 485-EAD shortly.
Can he extend L-1B visa by 1 more year?
- Does the 365 days rule for H-1B after labor clearance apply for L-1B visas also?
This is just as a precautionary step in case if his EAD is delayed and his current L1-B expires.
