L-1 RFE - envelope?

veryfrustrated

I have my own company and am 'self sponsoring' for L-visa.

I was sent extensive RFE for L-1 renewal.

I have chosen to respond myself as I have lost confidence in my lawyer.

In reading the BCIS site, I noted:

"NOTE: IT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT THAT THE LETTER REQUESTING EVIDENCE BE RETURNED WITH THE EVIDENCE AND THAT THE SPECIAL MAILING ENVELOPE PROVIDED BE USED. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL DELAY PROCESSING OF THE CASE AND MAY RESULT IN A DENIAL DUE TO ABANDONMENT."

Does anyone know what this mailing envelope they provide is?

What happens if I can't get this envelope from my lawyer and I send evidence in with a copy of the RFE only?

Appreciate the benefit of your experience. Thnaks!

don't get frustrated

Hi,

I did my first renewal myself got 2 yrs extended,, now completing 3 yrs this sunday and applied premium processing with very excellent lawyer and got a RFE....the Rfe doesn't look bad although it has the point to prove that the beneficary will perform in executive or managerial duty whcih is very big loophole wherby they can deny the case....

One of my friend got denied the first renewal because of this point on rfe and it was single line RFE....

I guess you can reply the RFE urself as I did 3 H1b in my company myself for my employees....

Take Care...

A suggestion If ur company is not in bright status If u can change to H1 in another company...now BCIS is very strict on L1"s

envelope

There is no such envelope for the Rfe that you have to take care of....So forget the lawyer If u want...

Thanks

Re: don't get frustrated

Thanks indianexpert.

I'm not sure what you mean by:
"although it has the point to prove that the beneficary will perform in executive or managerial duty whcih is very big loophole wherby they can deny the case...."

What is the loophole?

Also:
"A suggestion If ur company is not in bright status If u can change to H1 in another company...now BCIS is very strict on L1"s"

What have you heard about L1s?
I really don't want to start this whole process all over again...

I am concerned mainly because I found out my lawyer filed renewal application with no evidence (!) so, after 4 months I got a HUGE RFE which I am now working on. I can't believe he did this - talk about asking for trouble?!? Should have fired my lawyer long ago, done it myself and gone with premium processing. Would have been way ahead of the game by now.

Thanks for your feedback and info about the envelope. Don't want anything more to do with that lawyer if I can help it!
