By grace of god my I-485 case is approved on 01/27/2005. It took 36 months to reach this point in my GC journey. After responding to employment letter RFE, it took 6 days for USCIS to approve the case.

All those who are waiting hang in there. You are next.

I applied for EAD and AP renewal in December 2004 and those cases are still pending. I am not sure if I need to inform USCIS to cancel those applications now. Anyone in similar situation in past?

Congrats Kjoshi. Don't worry about the EAD and AP. INS automatically cancels the applications and notify you.
