Kids born overseas Citizenship

Hi;
Did just that and they could not find. Was told to visit immigration. So I took an infopass appointment and went there. Was told that "A" numbers for NA3 immigrations classifications take a while to pop out and not given at airports. File goes to the TX center to be processed and then an "A" number is generated.

Can I ask you how airline treat this case and issued boarding pass? Is kids foreign passport visa waiver country passport? If it isn't how could you obtain boarding pass at the airport? Do airline accept verbal claim that they are US citizen or PR children and issue boarding pass?

You need a transportation letter from the u.s embassy for the child.

You need a transportation letter from the u.s embassy for the child.

That is not necessary. You just have to show proof that the child is under 2 years old and that one parent is a permanent resident. However, it is true that some airline agents don't understand that rule and will give you a hard time without the transportation letter.
