I think it's something other than what you think. I'm in Texas and mine is in NSC as well. Hovewer, my case is ND 12/15/2001. Ya dumau eto izza religioznih prichin. Po moemu mneniu NSC eto kak "Komitet Glubokogo Bureniya" v bivshem USSR. Oni razdelili vse dela na "trudnie" i "legkie". Moe delo vse eshe tam i poslednee soobshenie ya poluchil v Avguste proshlogo goda. Sure this is just my opinion on this issue, if you spend some time looking at names, origins and approval times you may see something too. Well good luck with your GC man.
My best regards

mine political too it means they keep all political cases in Nebraska.the rest sent to TEXASKarinaM said:I would agree with kjonim32 that the districts has nothing to do with trnasfering cases to different service centers. My friend's (we live next to each other) case with religous basis was transferred to NSC, and mine - political, stayed in Nebraska...Who knows what exactly they are doing there![]()

FBI check shouldnt take that long.they put your bio3 on a system it takes less than 10 minutes to check your criminal background in US.if it is CIA background check it might take ages.Minsk said:PrivetMine is also a political case but I was tranferred to Texas. It's hard to say what their logic is. I bet it has something to do with the FBI security check, otherwise why would they approve kids right away? I think that's because they don't have any criminal records.

My 2 sons were waiting, like I did, for almost 4 years. My wife, my older son (10 years old) and myself were aproved last December. My little son (8 years old) still waiting!!!
"they approve kids right away" IS ABSOLUTELY WRONG.
True n one knows. What's interesting is that I talked to IO in SA in November. And all she told me was to wait for BIO.KarinaM said:I would agree with kjonim32 that the districts has nothing to do with trnasfering cases to different service centers. I think they can't check it at home due to asylum laws + if someone is the enemy of his state, that state is more likly(vernee skoree vsego tak i budet) to "cook up" something against that person. I think they do your check looking for possible terrorist connections based on names(first and last). And see if you were involved in criminal activity in other countries. that's if you ever lived anywhere else. Also, they do what's called "Examination" of your documents. For ex. my wife didn't have her "original" birth setificate she only had a new one mailed to her sometime in ninties and we never got it back from USCIS. Hovewer, my papers were all originals and they gave them all back to me. Also, she had to do several FPs and I didn't. My point here is that if you have all "Originals" than at least they know that you are who you say you are.
Again this isn't an exact knowlege based on facts. This is just my observations.
My best regards,

Я знаю случай, когда местный участковый получил запрос из посольства на посольском бланке с просьбой подтвердить факт избиения N, произошедший N го числа Nго года. Ко всему, они еще и об'яснили для чего им это нужно.
I know of a case when the US embassy abroad has sent an inquiry to the local police officer asking to confirm certain facts. More over, they've explained explicitely what do they need it for. Go tell them about asylum laws...

I think in some countries US embassy doesnt have any influence . Even though if they request anything like that from local enforcement by stating Citizine requested Asylum In USA .1)they can put indanger applicants Family and relatives..2)In most cases police officer will look for a family of that citizine..and and Officer will get his money cause police is mob in somecountriesi mean police will look for a profit.as you know embassies are not allowed to bribe.
Good lawyer can make them pay for that action.so they will have to grant refugee status for his/her family and relatives.![]()
