Kid - Approved & stamped but no card yet - ?? anyone in

the same situation like us?

We (self, spouse & 8 yr old son) stamped our passports at Newark in october. My spouse & I received our plastic cards last week but nothing for my son. His message has not changed from 'approved'. Is anyone in the same situation? I am worried as I understood in this forum that the kids get their card first even before stamping and my kid has not got it even after stamping. Any ideas? Does anyone know when we can call for enquiry? Thanks in advance.
 
We took a separate one but not sure whether it was mandatory.

Any replies to the orignal post from anyone? Thanks.
 
Do kids aged 8 and older require passport stamping? Mine was 7+ when applied and now 9+ and she got her green card yesterday in the mail.

I got couple of questions about my kids.
We(myself & my wife) got fp notices.

myselft & my wife given fingerprints on 11/9/03
LUD changed on 11/16 for me & my wife with message fp
received. once again updated LUD for both without mess.

a) so far I did not get any fp notices for my kids
daughter -- 9 years & son -- 5 years.
b) should I get fp notice for my kids?
c) LUD of my kids not updated. so far same old mess
age like I 485 filed and registered.
d) they will get approval along with us without fp?

Please share this problem and give inforamtion about that . I would appriciated.

You wont get any fp notice for kids. Message changes only when they are approved which usually happens when primary is approved.
 
I got mine and spouse but not for the 3 kids. I should be getting cards for kids anytime in the mail. Keep me posted if you get it or otherwise I'll let you know if I get it first for kids.

today i got emails of I 485 approvals for me & my wife.
But in case of my kids LUD updated 12/22/04

while clicked on their Case # , here iam getting following message.

CASE STATUS

The status for this Receipt Number cannot be found at this time in this automated system.
Please check your case receipt number to see if it is correct.
If you have questions or concerns about your case status,
please contact the National Customer Service Center.

could any body got this type of message. Please share with me

I got some releaf, about that problem.

If any idea please let me know
1) kids(9 & 5 years old) should get approvals soon for PP stamping?
2) Need 4 Infopass appointments for pp stamping (Alabany NY state)
3) how to get the Infopass appointments?

Update....

We received our kid's (8 yr old) card yesterday approximately a month after receiving primary's card. It carried his thumb expression and his signature they took during passport stamping.

Hello bellagio.,

As u said , on next day INS given message to my kids LUD like "cards ordered to my kids (5 & 9 years).

Here my question , what about kids PP stamping? stamping or not?

take an infopass apptmt for kids too (just to be safe) ; take them with you if you do not get the cards in mail by stamping day

almost everyone's experience has been that they received kids cards before the stamping day
