keeping LC filed for the future GC

Hi gurus,

Could anyone answer my question.
I'm about to leave the company A, which has started
my Labor Certification. They might agree to keep LC filed,
and continue with GC in exchange for me working for them in the
future.
Now my questions are:
- when should I start working for them again, at what stage of GC,
-after LC is approved?
-or after I-140 is filed
-or after GC is approved?

- do I have to work for that company in the future at all?

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Ann!

After you get ur GC.
You need to work atleast for 6 Months, immediately after the GC.

Can I file another LC with comany B meanwhile?

Thanks!

Yes You Can...

Also if you inform USCIS (INS) using AC-21 after 6 months of I485 receipt date & I-140 approval about your job with the other company (Same Profile/Category/Wages).. You don't have to Join back the company A at all.

theoritically possible but if your employer raise any issue alleging that you used his company to get gc and dont have any intend to work for him/her then you may have problem.

Problem in I 140

Even if you old employer agrees to keep LCA in process and you can join the old company again, that will be a problem in I-140, since you wont be on OLD employer's payroll, in the mean time. SO be careful!
