Keeping dual status (EAD & H1B)

I am currently on H1B and have a question if I work on one job on H1B and take up a 2nd job on EAD then am I giving up my H1B status

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Yes, when you use EAD for 2nd job, you are giving up your H1 status on your first job too. You need fiiil-up a new I-9 with your first employer to let them know your status change.
