KCC takes a long time to process mail

Hi
does anyone know how long it takes for KCC to process the ds230 and ds122 from the time you send the mail?

they answer my e-mail it less then 2 days .
have you send it from yahoo or hotmail it taks long ?
 
Last year it took them 5 months to process my forms so have patience. Also it does not hurt to call them once a month.
 
My friend called them and was told not to do anything before you number becomes current and wait with sending the $ 375.-. It wouldn't help you to get in front of the line or behind...as long as you send it when it becomes current.

They were very friendly and responded within 2 days on an email.

It took them just a day to answer my inquiry about the forms I sent. This is their reply:

Thank you for your inquiry.

Your forms have been received and are currently processing.

Interviews for the DV 2010 program will begin in October 2009 and conclude on September 30, 2010. KCC cannot provide information as to when an interview date may become available for your case. Appointments are scheduled numerically according to assigned case numbers. The Department of State designates how many interviews will be scheduled each month according to visa availability. After August 15, 2009, you may refer to the visa bulletin at www.travel.state.gov for the list of current numbers being processed. This information is updated on the 15th day of each month thereafter. If you are scheduled for an interview, KCC will send a notification letter via the address you provided on question three of the DSP 122.
