Kaplan F1 only valid 3 months?

I just called up Kaplan today, and they told me that even though the I-20 is for 6 months, the GRe course is 3 months long, hence the visa is only 3 months long.

I need to be in status atleast 6 months, thats why I am asking.

Can anyone help me out here? I need options to stay here since my OPT expires Jan 2008.
 
They give u I20 for 6 months so that u have options for getting an extension after 3 months/ recommended duration of study (ofcourse by making additional payment though).

Kaplan offers extension for their other programs; so I`m assuming they do it for GRE too. May be u can call them up again and talk about the extension policies and additional fees.
