Good luck for your interview. All the very best :)

Just make sure, you take a moment to know what Oath of Allegiance means.

Sanjay Bhaiya, apna signature to update karo!!! Now that you are a proud USC and on you way to becoming a senior member of this forum:D

Hey John,

Thanks for sharing this info. My interview is on Monday (23rd), I hope they give me the Dec 20th oath date.

Please do share your experience and let us know if they allow you to pick an oath date.

BTW, I think they conduct oath ceremonies in Lawrence (somewhere in the KU campus) as well. How did you get this information?

My Oath was held in a court room with total of 88 ppl. I believe the KU campus ceremony is only held if they have more than 100 ppl taking the Oath. I could be wrong good luck

Sanjay and the rest of you guys, thanks a lot for the advise and all the support, it been quite a journey. I had not been emotional even when I finally got my immigrant visa back home after I was denied visiting visa a couple of time. I have gotten my conditional green card and then my permanent green card and now finally I am going for interview to become a USC    Wow! thats pretty amazing. I hardly cry but the thought of tomorrow alone is moving me close to tears. I will try and pull it together cos I will not want to traumatize the IO. Anyway guys, thanks once again, I sure will be back here in about 24hrs to share my nice experience at the interview I beleive.

Take care guys!!!

Yep...small cities have big advantages, small number of applicants, small number of people who have experienced the immigration process from there. I suspect your N400 is the only game in town in KS...

Downside is, lesser number of ceremonies and more infrequent :)

or no one from KC knows about this immigration forum or even the link. I am sure there are many citizenship applicants. People in KC are probably not engineers, don't check online frequently or who doesn't know about computer stuff. :)

Johntlc, try to search for other interviews in other cities -- that way, you can get ideas.

oath

Updating my timeline: received my oath letter, now its count down to the oath ceremony day, A little below 2 million seconds to becoming a USC!! :D :D :D To the rest of you still waiting on USCIS at whatever level you are with your application, I wish you the very best and as much speedy processing you require.

Cheers!!!

Awesome!!! I am eagerly waiting for my letter. I hope I get the same oath date.

I think you will, so how did you interview go?

I hope so. Interview went pretty well. In and out in 15 minutes. My wife's didn't even last 5 minutes. I think as long you study for the test, it's just a formality:)

So, where is the oath ceremoney?
