Based on timelines, There seems to be a 2 month advantage in filing I-129F when compared to I-130 (interview for K visa gets scheduled with in couple of weeks of approval of I-129f while it seems to take almost 3 months before interview is schedule for immigrant visa; and interview date is usually 5 weeks from the date of scheduling)
Is it even worth it to apply for K3 visa three weeks after I-130 NOA1? I am curious if the I-130 approval and I-129F are linked? meaning both of them are processed together.. I read somewhere that I-130 assumes the I-129F noa1 date when both are filed (so the net effect may be 6 weeks rather than 2+ months)...
with the recent ruling that if i-130 AND i-129f are received at same time, NVC will always process I-130 also throws an interesting wrinkle into this whole equation... Do we have any say in which route we can go if both are received at same time?
