My mother came here in 2003 as K1 visa, so I was K2. Now in 15 more days I will be 21 years old and just 3 weeks ago I received a notice of deny of permanent green cared because the government does not believe that my mother's marriage with my step dad is true and legitimate. My mother already left and came back to my country but I do not want to leave. My boyfriend and I are planning to get married for real because we really love each other so I can stay here without going back. We are just afraid that if we get married right now before my hearing comes I will barred from coming back to America for 10 years and he will thrown in jail and be fined. We went to 5 different lawyers. Let put it this way, 3 Asian lawyers that we went to they said it is ok to get married right now and he can petition me and adjust my status right now. The other 2 White lawyers said not to do it because I would be barred from coming back to the U.S for 3 years or so. I'm running out of time, after a few days I will be out of status. Just waiting for my hearing right now and not knowing when it will come. If we can prove to the government that my marriage with my boyfriend is true and provide evidence to them would it be ok ?? or not ?? I do not know who to believe know. I'm doing this for real not fake because we really love each other. Is there any other way for me to adjust here without doing back. I'm dying right now.
