Dear all,
I am a United States Citizen and my fiance holds an Indian passport but resides in Dubai, UAE. For the past 8 years she has studied in Pakistan, so she has Pakistani visas in her passport.
I would like to bring her to the United States with intend of marriage by January 2012.
1) Would it be realistic to for me to hope that a K1 Visa would be processed and completed by that time frame if I file today?
2) Would the Pakistani visas in anyway slow down the processing?
3) She also has a tourist visa valid for another 7-8 years. If the K1 visa has not finished processing by January 2012, can she come here on her tourist visa without in anyway impeding the K1 visa processing with the intent of returning to the UAE and then complete K1 processing?
Thank you!
