I'm a naturalized US citizen. My gf will be coming to USA in L1 visa. We are planning to get married here in USA once she is here. Can we do it immediately or do we have to wait for sometime? After marriage I would apply for AOS. When the process is going on can she leave and re-enter USA with her L1? Or should we use Advance Parole?

Thanks for your answer.

I would advise you both to marry after she has spent 90 days in the US on L-1 status. If her L-1 visa is valid and good for multiple entries, she can use that to travel while her AOS is processing. No need to use an AP document.

We are planning to live together and use my home address as her address too. Can I do that? Why do we have to wait for 90? Are we trying to prove that we came to know each other after she came to USA and then we have decided to get married? Thanks very much for you answers and clarification.

You are not trying to prove that you both got to know each other after you last entered the US. The only reason you might want to wait 90 days from her last entry on L-1 is to avoid any remote possibility of her being accused of misrepresentation at the POE. It is highly unlikely that she will accused, due to being on L-1. However just to be 100% safe, waiting 90 days will only benefit and not harm.
