Need some help-
I am USC and filing K1 for my fiance. The local consulate would be Mumbai.
Now just to make case stronger I am planning to accompany her to consulate when interview happens.
Will that help in proving the our relationship?
(I am willing to waste a week time to travel there if this could really help in visa approval)
Do visa officers allow both, petitioner and beneficiary, at the time of interview?

In some embassies/consulates, it's actually encouraged that the petitioner accompany the beneficiary.

I dont know specifically about the rules surrounding this at the Mumbai consulate, but my gut instinct (if that counts for anything) is that you should be fine accompanying your fiance.

Yes. My fiancee' (now my wife) was standing next to me in Montreal in 2002 when I got my K-1 visa. My interview lasted 3 questions. I am pretty confident her presence shortened the interview.
