:) hello to all
i am newly divorced, i am seeking information on fiance visa? do i need to wait a certain amount of time after my final divorce decree
before i can apply for this type of visa? i met my fiance while i was still legally married but was already in the process of divorce, what can i do?? please someone help me??? i am at a very confused state of what i need to do, i hear from different people and i am not sure where to go, this is all foreign to me. thank u all for your help and response in advance

Hi, I was divorced in Jun of last year and met my now wife while I was seperated. We were married in August. I don't think there is a minimum time to wait. My wife got her K3 visa and the consulate didn't have a problem with the 2 month time span between my divorce and marriage.

Besides, it will probably take some time to get the fiance visa approved.

Help with G-325a for K-3

I couldn't find a thread that addresses this issue, so I'm helping someone here can help me with a two part question:

I am about to file for the K-3 visa for my wife (we were married in Ecuador). She has a 7 month old son. Do I fill out a G-325a for him as well? If so, since the biological father denied paternity and is not listed on the birth certificate, what do I put in the area as father's information?

Thank you for any help you can provide.

Tony

Hello,

You need not have to wait at all after you get the final divorce decree. The final decree is all that matters, which proves that you are now eligible to get married again. The INS would not have any issues with it at all. If your fiancee is a US citizen ask him to file the fiancee visa petition on your behalf.

Hello,
The only proof I have of is meeting are two, similar, photos. Is that not enough? I don't have my airline boarding passes etc. saved. I do have several emails (at least 1/day for 8 months) and phone calls (about the same).
