K Visa questions

I am planning to marry to my fiance who is from Portugal with a K Visa. She is divorced and has a 5 year old son and I am a US citizen who lives in America. I thought it would be easier to marry in Portugal for her to be able to come and live in America. However, a lawyer told me to file a K Visa.

From what I understand I will file a petition I-129F from it will take about 30 days to be approved or denied and another 30 days for the Foreign embassy in Portugal to receive the papers.

My first question is will I have to go to Portugal for the interview at the embassy or just my fiance?

Who schedules the interview?

About how long does it take to officially get the Visa after the interview?

Does Portugal or USA require permission from the ex-husband about letting the child leave the country since he has lost custody?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
thanks.

Patrick.
