is it possible to geta girl a fiancee visa to the US, if you have no money or bank account, but enough for visa expenses & plane ticket, etc.

im still a student... so yea. but she'll be finish with college by that time, & i'll be there with her for a period of 6 mo's, which im hopin ill be able to manage a visa in time.

Also, are these "professional visa services/assistance" worth the money, to give me a much better chance of success?

what exactly do you mean, how does joint sponsorship work?

will me having a bank account be required?

I can use a relatives bank statement, etc. is it possible from overseas? will I have to send them a form to fill out in advance & already have it in my packet when applying for the visa?

So that the intending immigrant does not become a public charge in the US, the petitioner must have an annual income that is 17.5% above the national poverty level (not sure of the exact figure, but its somewhere around $18,000). Obviously, not everyone who wants to marry a foreign national meets this requirement, therefore for those in this situation, it is possible to have a joint sponsor (a US citizen or GC holder) as long as they meet the minimum income requirements....so they fill out an I-134 (I believe) as well as yourself so state that should the foreign national claim government benefits that they are not entitled to, then they (the sponsor) will pay the money back to the government.

The I-134 will state exactly what they need from yourself and your relatives to prove income/lack of, such as W2's, letter from employer etc.

The I-134 is not needed when you send of your initial petition to either California or Vermont.....rather it is needed when the petition is at the consulate level (it has been sent by USCIS to the embassy in Phils).

You will get denied if you do not meet the income requirement, or have a qualified co-sponsor to help you.
