Even though never got through during day time,
gave it a try after knowing PD will be current
next month. Bingo! I was connected to the AVM
after only one ring.I guess today is my lucky day.

An lady IIO with minority accent was extremely nice and
helpful. Checked both mine and my wife cases, said they
went to the unit on Feb 5. The next step is to assign to
an officer, which may only take another week or so. Boy!

Does anybody know what exactly "went to the unit" means?

Hi, caughtinbetween, what is the update on your case? Mine is very similar to your, SRC-00-149-XXXXX, tried numerous times to call TSC these days, no luck...

Called TSC yesterday (Feb 28) afternoon around 4:00 PM. My case
has not been assigned to officer yet. It is still pending in the
distribution unit. IIO told me it may take a couple more weeks.
Who knows.

Thank you for the info sharing. Based on many of our friends approvals, it takes average 1-1.5 yrs from ND to get approval for Chinese in TSC. I am really tired of this waiting game.
