I just spoke to IIO , she says that my case is pending because the visas are not available.
She also told me that it is not even assigned to an officer.
I have called them before on 9-5-2001 that time they told that I should hear from them with in 30 days.
My RD: 3/31/00
      ND: 4/21/00
   Receipt lin-00-146-xxxx
 
I don\'t know why these IIO are bluffing and giving wrong answers

A Friend of mine who is waiting also got the same answer...
Looks like waiting is the only option

Guys

Don\'t believe what the IIOs\' say. They have no clue what they are talking about. I have heard almost all of their excuses
(ex. each case is different, a visa is not available, the processing dates are an estimate only, 360-390 days are working days, your case was at a different location etc...). These are all lies.

Finally, I have approached my local senator\'s staff and they
have approved within a month.

Your cases should have been approved long ago....
Contact your local congressmen/women or senators.
 
That is hog wash

It is barely four days ago they have released the cutoff dates and how the heck can all be current if there are no Visas available. Seems like there few IIOs that are clueless who keep giving wrong information instead of doing any research or trying to find out the correct information.

I say hold on for a week or two , till all the current situation is calmed down and then contact your Local Senator or Congressman to look into your case.
