Just spoke to an IIO at VSC. She says my file has reached the department. Its not with the adjucating officer yet. It will go to the officer once they come to my ND. Can any one decipher tis?
Also, according to her they are adjucating 8/1/99 cases.
My ND is 8/9/99.

8/1/99 is Sunday. This is what I heard from an IIo and then realized is sunday. But saw couple of posts
where ND aug 24th getting approved, Was that a scam

You are right. I was looking at 2000 calender. But we are going off track here.
My original question is: What does it mean by the file has reached the department.

Aug 01, 2000 was a Tuesday, but I thought we were discussing Aug 01, 1999, which was a Sunday.
Anyway, I think that the info that INS Vermont is now processing cases filed in Aug, 1999 is fairly reliable. Hope we will see a good number of approvals to support this claim.....

I have no idea to tell you the truth by what they meant. But he told me that it will take 30 to 60 day when I called on August 18th. He told me that it is in adjucation section. Even if I get adjucated in 4 month I will be happy.
