I just spoke to an IIO and she told me that FP proces is complete on Jan 17th ( when AVM changed to Processing resumed) and the case is being
"adjudicated" . Can anyone tell me that this means ????
thanks in advance

I guess from the conversation

that the IIO meant that either

the case has been approved or

the officer is working on it

check ur avm daily in the night and prepare urself for the good news

RD is June 20th 2001

thanks for the help however, assuming that IIO told me the truth,
is it assigned to an officer OR the applications is being reviewed to make sure everything is in there ???

thanks Saab and rsrgc

No Title

I think it means it is assigned to an officer
who is adjudicating it. You should ask the IIO
has my case being assigned to an officer.
If so, then you should hear something in a few weeks
at most.

Beamer-man, looks like your case has been assigned to an officer...

In the past it has taken about 3 weeks for adjudication after being assigned to an officer. Recently it has been as quick as 1 week so keep checkiing that AVM and you should hear the good news soon. Your WAC# of WAC-01-263 should put you in the June RD batch. Is that right? If so thats good news for June mailers who did their FP\'s in October/November. If it is not too much trouble please post your details again. Thanks.

reviewed vs. assigned

I got through to an IIO yesterday too. She said my case is being
reviewed. However when I specifically asked if that meant that
it had been assigned to an officer she didn\'t give me a clear answer.
Also didn\'t give any answer to how long it would take from that point.
She did seem new, so who knows.

My ND 8/20, AVM 1/17 processing resumed, FP 1/02/02

Lucky you, Beamer_man! There are folks who did their FP\'s 2 months before you with June RD and stil

Like I have said in the past your RD does not make any difference within the month of RD. Its how fast all your reports get cleared and your position in that month\'s line. I am pretty sure that assignment is FIFO from the adjudication-ready shelf. Either your case made it to the relative front of the line in the shelf for June RD or you got assigned to a very fast officer or your case was the first the officer adjudicated among his batch of assigned cases. Anyway enjoy yourself!

Spoke to one very good IIO

He said we got background check on 7th and ur whole file is now on the shelf and ready to go..he looks like a white guy..very professional.
he mentioned there are 15 officers who handles exclisively 485 files.
I did FP on 1/24..

anybody knows how many days/weeks will it takes to reach an officer??
