Just making sure correct forms

Hi,

My lawyer has made several mistakes in the past and I am just making sure that the correct number of forms were filed.

In our application, there is 1 form of I140 submitted and 2 individual I485 (one for me and one for my wife)

Is this correct? Sorry if this is a dumb question.

Yes, it is correct. There will be only one I140. Then your 485 and also your dependent's 485(s).
