Just I heard that from May 1st 2004, all I-485 petitions will process fast?

Is it true?

Just now my friend is telling that his attorney told him from May 1st 2004 all I-485 petitions will process fast and there is bright chance for Concurrent filers (Nebraska Service Center) to complete the process with in 9-10 months. Is it true?

If it is true, what about other processing centers? Any such news for Vermont center?

Also I would like to know Non-concurrent filers.

So this pilot program from april 30th is only in NSC right??..is there any indication how long this pilot will run before other centres adopt it??

The change that is supposed to be in place by 04/30 isn't a pilot program. It's a change in the way that all concurrently filed I-140 / I-485 applications will be handled and (in theory) applies to all service centers.
