Thanks all... My approval should give hope to everybody waiting for their approval.. as long as the visa number has been assigned.. you should be good...

Have any IO told you that visa number hasbeen assigned to your case either over the phone or at infopass....

cause more than month ago I have been told my case is with officer at infopass..I called 2 weeks back IO over the phone confirmed that case is with IO but no visa number assigned....I don't know if no visa number is assigned to the case then what will IO do with the case....

any thoughts...
 
Thanks, I took 2 info pass appointments

1) july 2'nd -->> july visa number allocated.. case not assigned to any officer ( officer emailed TSC IO)
2) July 16'th or 17'th.. -->> no info about visa number.. case with IO ( officer emailed TSC IO)
3) Initiated SR through local congressman sometime in 3'rd week of July..

Congratulations!!. Can you please let us know how you have opened SR? How to contact local congressmen? When you called up IO, were you ever told that No visa is assigned? Thanks in advance!!
 
Contacted congressman through house.gov.. they themselves created the SR on my behalf..

Calling TSC is just waste of time.. they told me that case was not assigned to any officer or visa allocated.. they also told me that security checks were pending..

Congrates telgoudu... soon a lot of folks will get approval. My case is approved my derivative is still pending. Anyone else in the same boat ?

1victim - I am EB2 India. (PD July 2005).

I think India had a total of 800 ((Eb2+Eb3)) PERM cases between March and Sept 05. So not much and I have a seen a lot of guys getting approval from that group too.
