Appointment was at 9:00 AM, Reached Newark ASC at 8:30 and was out by 9:25 AM.
Plenty of parking.. Polite staff... Was very quick.. Hope this helps.

How many days in advance did you get the noticement for doing the FP? INS sent the notice to you directly or the lawyer?

I-485 RD 10-Jan-2000, ND-25-Jan-2000. EB2/INDIA.

FP Notice Date - 2/13/01, Scheduled for 3/28/01 at 9 AM at Newark ASC.
I got the notice in my hand around 5 weeks before.

Address: INS NEWARK 100-24 Commerce St, Newark NJ 07012.

Only the Attorney gets the notice. We have to collect the same from him
and go to the FP along with passport and driving licence.

Do we need any other documents apart from passport and driver license? In my case, I am on H-1, but my H-1 is not stamped on the passport. Can that be a problem?

Also, my old pp expired (the one I used when I entered the US on F-1 student visa). My new pp is issued in New York, and does not have any US visa/I-94. Could that be a problem too?

All they ask is for some form of ID. You don\'t need your passport. You will also need to fil in your SSN in the form they give you.

They may ask for 2 forms of ID. Passport and Drivers license is mentioned in the Finger print notice.
But the reality is they don\'t even ask for the passport. They just ask for Driver\'s license.
It is a pretty easy process. One of my colleague is doing FP tomorrow and
another one is doing FP on Friday. I will ask them if they asked anything else.
I will post if they were asked anything other than the drivers license.

I called FBI today evening. She told me it will take 2 days. So, I am calling on Friday.

Do they check for the correct address on the license? I recently moved and still have the old address on the liccense.

I don\'t think so. All they check is name and date of birth and conmpare with the form that you fill in at the ASC.
They may be also verifying the picture just by looking at you.
