Just Curious: Why yellow letter? why not white letter, blue letter or red letter or grey letter?

Why did USCIS issue yellow letter instead of white letter, red letter, blue letter, any color?

They are using all colors ...

Applications (when they want money) are in WHITE.

Warnings are in YELLOW

Denial are in RED.

Approval are in GREEN

This is a question I expected from WBH.

My guess is color yellow means warning, or notice, hence the use of the color yellow for CFR so that applicants pay attention to it.
