Folks...as you may know, i have an EA petition stuck at NSC since 9/2006 and the current processing date is 1/2007 - already 4 months beyond my RD - yet I have heard nothing. I filed a service request on 9/19/2007 and yesterday I got an open-ended letter saying my application is with an officer and i will hear whenever that officer actually gets around to it. Pretty much, it could be today or 2010...who knows...so, I guess I am just venting out a little frustration. I have an infopass appointment soon although everyone know how useful that is. Maybe I have to go to the congressman's office next...? Ideas, comments, thoughts, cribs, complaints welcome!

Did you get any info whether you name check is clear or not?
 
no, the letter didnt say anythign about name-check...but what has name-check got to do with I-140?
