HERE is what happened

Myself:- Showed the Paper
IO:- What are you here for today

Myself:- To get the latest detail on my case( I was almost about to speak, abe mere ko ba izzat bali kab kar rahi hai bata, but thought i should behave nice in government offices, bapu ne bola kya.... VINAMRA SE BAT KARNE KA)

SO I Talked with Vinamrata

Those who are confused with word Vinamrata, can definitely assume it as name of a girl....


Ok here it goes further


IO:- Which case
Myself:- application to register for permanent residence I 485

IO:- Employment based?
Myself(with vinamrata):- yes madam

IO:- No visa numbers are available
Myself:- But can you please check other details on my case like security check.

IO:- Your security check is cleared since 2004.
Myself:- did you receive my 2nd fingerprinting, fbi told me they sent it to you
IO:- yes we did

Myself:- so whats next

IO:- case is pending and if visa number is assigned, you will here until october 1st.

Myself:- is there any way to know if visa number was assigned
IO:- no you just have to wait

Myself(With Very Very Vinamrata, bapu ne bola kya):- that helps a lot, thanks a lot.

GUYS---- I THINK NOW IF A PERSON DOES NOT SEE ANY LUD'S AFTER MARCH...I THINK MOST LIKELY THE FILE MIGHT NOT HAVE BEEN TOUCHED FOR A VISA NUMBER

If your name check is cleared and your FP is current, most likely visa number would have been assigned to your case! All the best!

I DONT HAVE ANY LUD's after MARCH

All the approvals i see are only with LUD's

Plus my application is in exams area... so what to hope for?
 
There were lot approvals without LUD also for eample MA_labor....Bapu ne bola hai relax kaar na tu munna.....

My case was transfer from VSC to TSC on March 15th. I had my 2nd FP done on May 5 th. No LUD changes. One fine day I received magic mail saying Welcome to new permanent resident mail.

yellowrocks is your case with local office? they told me the same on 07/31 and i did not go there after. they said i did not get visa number but my wife got the visa number but yet cannot be approved and get the card since she is derivative and i am primary and she has to wait until i get visa number.

By the way here is my question:

Are there any unused visa numbers from NSC and TSC being returned to DOS because they cannot approve the cases due some reason?

Will they readjust the visa numbers within the applicants without returning to DOS(i believe that is not the process since it is the responsibility of DOS to assign)

will anyone be given priority saying gee this family is given one visa number and cannot approve since the primary applicant does not have visa number?

Any attempts to clear these questions? Just the thoughts because we are looking at blackbox.

In between, National Benefits Center does not take application enquiries from Senators and/or Congresspeople
 
Count me in for no LUD on I-485 till approval. But i did had LUD on approved I-140 on 7/7/2007.

Come on man be serious please

Is your I485 with TSC/NSC or with Local Officers. The reason why I am saying this is all the applicants whose applications with Local Offices did not get any visa number when their PD got current in July Visa bullentin.

That is the reason i am asking

How did you come to know that your security check is cleared. It would be really appreciated if you give us some information. Because my case is also in security check pending and I am clueless on how to enquire on security check status with FBI or any other soource(??).

it has 250 pages ....i dont patiences to read fully but went thro a glance ...
go to page 92...they ahve written clearly abt work distribution procedure.

Visa hold shelf:

stage files untill visa number not available until visa becomes available
IF visa is available then " Pull the file and return it to appropriate adjucicator"
IF visa not available then "leave the file on the shelf"

IT means all pending cases allocated visa numbers..Am i right.....
