Just called NSC

The tele prompt said "thank you for calling NSC, your call will be attended to between 10 - 20 mins"

after about 15mins....

REP: USCIS.... (without saying his name and no greeting at all).
Me: Hello, good morning, how are you?
REP: GOOD!
Me: I just have concern regarding Notice of Receipt.
REP: WHAT IS YOUR CONCERN ALLL ABOUT?
Me: Me and my lawyer have not received the NOTICE OF RECEIPT up to now. The first and only letter we received from you was the FP appointment letter. I am just wondering if you can send me a copy of the receipt because me and my lawyer might need it in the future while waiting for my I-485 approval.
REP: WHAT IS YOUR NAME?
Me: (i gave my full name)
REP: (can hear him typing)... YOUR ADDRESS?
Me: (i gave my full address)
REP: THAT'S THE ADDRESS WE HAVE ON HERE SIR.
Me: I know, because we received the FP notice but not the NOTICE RECEIPT.
REP: IT IS SHOWING THAT THE MAIL WAS DELIVERED TO YOUR AND YOUR LAWYER'S ADDRESS AND THE ONLY WAY I CAN REISSUE ONE IS WHEN IT SAYS HERE IN OUR SYSTEM THAT IT WAS MAILED BACK TO US SAYING "UNDELIVERABLE".
Me: oic... what is your name again? (I said AGAIN tho he didnt give it to me yet)
REP: BOB.
Me: o hi Bob, also... is there a way for you to check if my name check has been cleared???
BOB: (can hear him typing).... YES, it is cleared.
Me: May i know the date when it was cleared?
BOB: I AM SORRY, WE DONT GIVE THAT INFORMATION AWAY. IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE YOU WANT TO KNOW?
Me: Oh that's all Bob... thank you for the big help.
BOB: YOU BET!

(hang up)

Bob wasnt that friendly over the phone but at least i was able to get some answers that i need. I was very friendly over the phone tho i want to kill him because his tone of voice is very rude.

but anyhow, will i not be needing the NOTICE OF RECEIPT somewhere along the way while waiting for my GC???? I am renewing my EAD next month and i am not sure if that will be needed.

press 1 (now listen to the case update info..blah blah)
press 3
press 4
(now if you listen a male voice prompting you to hold the call that means the call is going to IOs desk, if it says no IO is available, it will redirect it to NSC, you can cut the phone.. and try the same steps again)
