I just called VSC and spoke to IIO.

Same old story. The case is on \'HOLD\' because of name change.

They don\'t have any idea when the guidelines will be issued.

Boy, am I tired of waiting ?

Also told the IIO that a few people from my company have gotten approvals/REFs. She said she did not have any idea why the approvals/RFEs were issued.

And the wait continues...

Now the talk is....it wud be out not sooner than late June....don\'t quote me on this though..........this is by a lawyer that I contacted.

I read an article in India Abroad quoting Eileen Schmidt of INS stating that the regulations are expected in early summer. That should be end of June or Early July. Man this thing keeps moving and moving like an Oasis. Looks like they will publish LIFE regulations even before AC21 regulations though AC21 was passed into law first. So much with INS and the vote bank politics.

no it is a link amnesty part of LIFE act. It was supposed to be published on Apr20. So looks like everything is getting dealyed. Nothing new i guess.

Man, I am depressed. Looks like it is going to take atleast 6-8 more months to get the approval notice.

Just hope that the US economy doesn\'t go from bad to worse.
