Hi, My case:
WAC: 01-137 xxxx
RD: Mar. 01,
RFE receivd by INS (fingerprint fee): June 01
FP done: Feb. 02
Just talked to IIO, NOT helpful at all. She said "just pending". I asked whether the background check is done, she asked " what background? we received sth. from FBI early FEB. but don\'t know what is it, probably FP". I asked " the case has been assigned to officer?" She said "no". So frustrating, what should I do guys. people in this forum said calling too many times may trigger delaying of the case. So what should I do, keep waiting? Fax inquiry has to be beyond JIT time, right? current JIT time is 01/01/01. Pls advise, thanks.

Hi Guys,

Unfortunately people here try to attribute logic and decency to the
INS and CSC folks. Over the last 4.5 years I have come to the
conclusion that anytime you do this, you will just build up your
expectations and wind up getting disappointed and then depressed
and angry.

I know this is hard, but the INS will approve your case when
the INS does. Please try to keep up on your case and every now
and then call and make sure everything is ok but don\'t set your expectations too high.

I have related my I-140 experience already. They took 1.5 years to
do my I-140. Others who had filed at the same time as me got approved
in about a year. My lawyers faxed them twice and the response always was PD not current ( in so many words ). Finally when my PD became
current my lawyers called them. They said - "Oh, this case got
approved last Dec., we just forgot to input it into the system and
send out an approval notice." My PD is 11/97 btw. Also look
at the notice dates of people who filed in June. They are the
same as the people who filed in July and in some cases Aug. Is
that fair ?

BTW I have nothing against individual INS workers, the system is setup
so that they become immune to the humans behind a WAC #. We are just
another # to them.
