Just called IIO - Case Assigned to Officer

Finally there is some activity on my case. Just called IIO and she said fingerprints came fine and case assigned to officer. She said I should hear something within 6 to 8 weeks. From what I read in this group there is a possiblity it will get approved sooner, right? I\'m thrilled!

Details: RD 7/18, ND 9/5, FP 12/11

You did FP on 12/11 and IIO said the results came good now...

what's wrong with that, rcgcwait? FP was done 12/11 but the results are still good. I see no problem...

It will not take more than one hour for an officer to approve a case once he opens it. Yours may be apporved today itself. So keep checking AVM.

Still waiting for approval. I don\'t belive IIO\'s shit.

THe machine is saying FP received January 14 and processing resumed.
I had spoked on IIO\'s before and no one gave me any indication as to where the application stands till today. The officeer today did not indicate when the case was assigned. She just said it is assigned to an officer and you should hear something 6 to 8 weeks. I think this is a standard answer.
