June-Revalidation Application tracking

GOT MY PASSPORT FINALLY

Hi everyone,
this is my first time i post my results here...
my SL received date : june 25
my visa issued date : september 23
my passport received date : september 26
WE Had two passport revalidated together...We are from the
special registration country...I got a one year valid H1B visa,but
they gave my wife a 9 months H4 visa ...i don't know why is that..
Anyway we finally got the passports stamped and we are very
happy...smiling again...

help...i've
been reading through your posts since march this year...very
encouraging..

My SL RD is June 27th. No fedex information yet. So, I wanted to call DC. Number (202)663-1225, then 1,0.

But, they say "All operators are busy, please hang up and try again later". Did I call at a wrong time? Is there any good time to try to call? Is there another number? Please let me know..
 
It happend for me for several time this morning. I think there is no operator in the desk or something. but around 11am, i got through and operator came on phone after 30 mins of waiting. so keep trying.

Just checked Fedex Tracking History. Its been picked up by them today and I should have the PP by tomorrow.

Got PP (6/26-9/29) but screwed up

SL RD: 6/26
Visa issue: 9/25
PP RD: 9/29

But they only gave us (me and my spouse) two weeks expiration whereas we should've got three months. I called the DC office number for like 20 times, always getting the "All operators are busy" message, then finally got through and waited for like an hour till someone answered. They admited it's an error and told me to return for correction. According to http://travel.state.gov/revalcor.html it takes 5 business days for correction, but the lady I spoke to said she doesn't know how long it takes and she doesn't know any way for me to check the status. I'm sending our passports back today...

Got my passport after a long wait . I can't explain how I felt with every passing day after Spetember 17th .

I received my PP today after a long wait.

SL Sent 25th June. SL Received 26th June
PP Stamped 26th Sept. PP Received 30th Sept.

Great relief..... Thanks to all of you for updating this thread with you PP status.

Nikks I think you should have the PP in 2-3 days.

Kumsi, no ... not yet. My DC date is July 25th , it will take a couple
of weeks, I guess. It's still 'touch and go' for my trip on Oct 16th.

Although i guess i am the only one left.. still putting up an update.

Spoke to the DC office.. the lady was very sweet and told me my visa has been issued today.. 2nd Oct.

Should be getting it soon.

Revalidation Mistake

Hi guys,

I sent Passport in the month of June 25 and got visa stamped on Sept 27. Every thing looks good my name and validity of visa dates. But the problem is My Petetioner(My current employer) name was misspelled by one character(My company name is:

Everest Technologies Inc). It was misspelled as Everst technologies Inc. Do I really need to send my passport to Correction Visa department (DC) to change my Employers name. Please suggest me.

My suggestion is do not take any chances. You could get the employer name corrected from DC Office. It does not cost you anything.

Not neccessary....unless you really are very particular about it.
As long as u carry ur H-1 / whatever visa u r on along with u during ur travel u should be ok.
However do verify that with ur attorney.
