June Interview Plastic card tracker

XML, do it atleast 4 working days prior.

normally in Mumbai, everybody gives at same day. But still, sometime 2nd day, and due to any reason(not even 1%), if they call you again, then you will be in trouble. Do it on thursday OR Friday. Weekends will be off in hospital.
 
how long for medicals at Hinduja?

I have appointment at 7 am at Hinduja.
By what time I should expect my medicals to be done?
Do we have to go personally to collect the reports or somepone
else can collect it on our behalf?

If I dont get to collect the report the same day, can I collect it next day at my convinience or is it better to collect it the same day?

Do any senior successful CPers know what is the number to
call to find out about the status of your plastic card ?

Lary, Hinduja Medical.

I too had 7:00 AM at Hinduja in June 2002.

It will take 3 hours maximum in morning. Then they will call you around 3:00 PM again. so, second time, doctor(Dastur-Parasi Bawa) will see/examine you personally, and asks 2-3 general questions. then, again you have to wait for 30 minutes in lobby, then Nurse/Clerk will annnounce your name, and will give you your documents/reports by confirming passports.

It is better to call Hinduja and find out, is there way, other person can collect your documents.

I believe if your POE is in eastern US (like NY ,boston etc)
your card would be processed by TSC and the number
to call is 214 381 1423

POE at : Houston
DOE on : 07 July, 2002.

Neither received any welcome letter nor any plastic card.

Is there a way to track and find out when it would be mailed.

recieved wife's card on 08/05 .

Was asked to submit the photographs again both for the kid and my self.

Interview at Mumbai: June 26, 2002
POE at Chicago : Aug 2, 2002
GC plastic card received at Chicago: Aug 15, 2002.
 
Card Arrived

Received Welcome letter on 08/17/2002
Received Plastic card on 08/20/2002!

Everything on the card seems to be right. Finally it's all over! I really don't want to deal with INS ever again...

Interview date: 29th July, EB2
DOE: 18th August
POE: Los Angeles Terminal 6 (United airlines).

Looks like West Coast time is 1 month, Chicago is 2 weeks and East Coast is around 2 months or so.
