If you have received your confirmation letter but did not receive the card within a couple of days, then your card order has not been approved (mistakenly). Call the number on the receipt notice (you'll need patience) and they will approve the order while you are on the phone. The same thing happened to me.

Was there any note return on the packet u received after the interview?

I will appreciate if successful cpers can share this info.
After an interview u receive two seperate packets for u and your spouce.
Is there any note on the packet that dependent receives?
I read in a post here that on his wife's packet it is specifically writen that Must travel with spouce.
is it the case with everyone?
I have mentioned in DS230 part 1 that me and my spouce will be entering US together. But now my wife needs to stay back extra for a week.
I was wondering if this should be ok? Will she get any such note on the papers that she receives?
Please share your views.

my interview was on June 20 @ Chennai
We did not get any such note on my wife's packet.
Same is the case with 2 of my friends who had their CP during this time.This is just to let you know that not all cases have such
notes - though I've read about such things happening to a
few people from this forum - not sure the reason behind
such a condition.

Yes! My wife's package had that printed on the very top. I think the consulate does this if you specify that both of you are going to enter the US together. Since this is printed above the visa and most of us are interested in looking at the visa (and nothing else), this might be hard to notice (even I didn't notice that at the very first glance).

I had a note on my wife's packet saying "Valid only when following or accompanying the spouse" .. which means that she can come later or with me ...
But I saw different notes on this forum saying that the wife's should accompany the husband ....
So it would depend on what note u would get ....

Advice on medical schedule
Successful CPrs,
I have my interview on Sep 11, which is wednesday. I am planning to reach India the previous weekend. Will do my medical on Monday and interview on Wednesday.
Questions...
1) which doctor gives the report on same day?
2) Do you think I should visit India earlier than that and get my medical done the previous week?
3) Any other advice on medical will also be appreciated.
