Just needed to say it outloud... finally something to smile about that the pace is picking up for FP1... and hopefully move forward by a month every bulletin!!!!

I already told you that this category is in for a sprint anytime. With priority dates at June 1, 2001 that meant that all 245i's are all cleared. It will move much faster come October when new numbers are available. But lets see whats happen in the senate negotiations.
 
it nice to hear that some people are happy about it; moving 15 days per month is way 2 slow. it makes you wait 7 years next year if they keep it like this.

My friend is almost there... his priority date is 08/2001. I bet he can apply for I-485 by the end of this year... finally after more than 6 years of waiting.
 
I hope his application wouldn't be affected by the new immigration bill! (Keep fingers crossed)

March 15, 2005 is the proposed cutoff date. This was acknowledge by White House staff members at a news conference yesterday. As I was saying, more visas will be allocated to family based category each year in order to clear the entire blacklog in 8 years. After that F1, F2B, F3 and F4 will cease to exist, moving to the points system.
