Hey Guys

ericmn, tammy2, nkp321, jagan0007, snowbell,

Would you please post your I-485 filing details?

I am sensing that VSC is linking your I-140 application to I-485 thereby nullifying your I-140 date.

eg 2 days back, there were couple of June and July approvals. All of them has filed I-485 in the month of September 2002. So when VSC says they are processing september cases, I think these are the ones they referring to.

So let us find out by your cases, whether the logic holds good.

Hi snowbell
Is it Ok to use EAD with pending I-140. I am actually pressing my company to file for H1 extension as i still have 3 years left in the 6 year period.

I did not get an answer for this from my company. If i can use EAD with pending I-140 thats good ..

Logic looks good KKulkar

I kind of agree with kkulkar as I was trying to put some logic behind these recent approvals and found the similary pattern as kkulkar suggested but wanted to see the logic working first...:)

Kkulkar, could you please post your info as well? I think it would be a great idea to keep this thread alive and we should post any change in the status whenever it happens. If Kkulkar's logic is good then we should see some approvals within 2 weeks for the ppl who have I140 RD of the current processing time (as the timeline changes from 09/16/03). Please feel free to comment/ suggest and share the info.

Thanks!

PT_Jun01

Hello PT_Jun 01, ericm, snowbell, nkp321,

Based on your data snowbell, ericm has same I-485 posting date 09/26/02.

Seems like PT_Jun 01 has a notice date end September 2002 and NKP1 has a notice date of 10/10/02.

Therefore I am expecting approvals in that order. I agree with PT_Jun01 estimate of 2-3 weeks time for approval.

My info is

ND: 28th September 2003
EB 2 - CP option.

If I have understood the logic right then
Tammy2->
-485 ND Aug 23 2002 EB3
AP and EAD Approved in Sept 2002. Hope I-140 approval comes soon.

should have got his approval.

I don;t understand

:(

for kmeda2 approval was on June 9th, his 485 ND - Aug 17.
I pray BCIS is not so irrational and adhoc.

Hope calling the BCIS after 1 year would actually pick our file from the GUTTER.

I wish , I could understand logic behind BCIS 140 processing- whose brains driven by specialiazed in Random neuron techn.

A colleague of mine who has the same RD ,ND for 140 ,485 , Fingerprinting got his 140 approved a month ago.

I know two of my co-workers who have filed later than me (Both I-140 and I-1485) got approved their I-140. One of them got approved (I-140) in October and other one a month ago. Both were applied their I-140 at least one month later.

ericm

I can understand your frustation!. I am feeling it myself.

Anyway, VSC always processes cases in a range say from Mid-August till Mid-September.

Sometimes the officer that is handling the case is slow, on vacation and what not.

Therefore I will not worry too much for Tammy2s case. If he/she does not get approved within a month, then it is definitely a problem..

By the way, user Amitava_chatti just got approved. He was EB-2 Sub. labor nd - 09/09/02

Hello

06/15/2003 VSC processing dates shows that the center is processing 09/03/2003.
