Jump in dates

Does not help for EB3 Applicants

It was a Good jump happy for EB2 Fillers, but it does not make any happy to EB3 Applicants...


until SEP bulliton comes EB3 applicants can not do any thing, just wait and see..
 
Also I don't know how this would help my case. Still no response yet. Probably stuck in name check?
 
stuck in name check too.

at least when name-check is completed, they may approve our cases.

Maybe you are right that it will help eb2 in the short run. But once the dates become closer to 2005 it would clear up a lot of cases in october.
 
It has been posted in many other threads in this forum but let me put this once again for you.

Send email to FBI (Email address: FBINNCP@ic.fbi.gov) with your name, date of birth, A# and, I think, your Social Security # (not sure if that's needed but I included it in my email). they will reply you in 3 months time statin gif name check is done or pending.

They now take 6 months to reply an enquiry now.

and that length of time for reply is growing every month.

Didn't they have a toll free phone number too ? Have they stopped that telephonic service?

Do you have content of the email you sent. Did you ask directly for name check results or something else. Can you please post fax/email/letter you sent to FBI for knowing the results of name check .

My Labour Priority date is Oct 24, 2003, but I filed my 485 on Dec 27, 2004 (EB-3) how do I co-relate my dates with the above status?

I saw some where that it means - all cases filed prior this date are distributed to officers.
 
both priority date and filing date are important

1. your priority date should be prior to the cut off priority date published by the USCIS. If your PD is Oct 2003 and you are in EB3 category, they are not going to process your case for some time. Current EB3 cut off priority date is June 2002.

2. next thing is your 485 filing date should be prior to the 485 processing date published by USCIS. Nebraska is now processing applications filed on or before Nov 2003. So they will process your case if you are in EB1 or EB2 categories.
