My I485 application was finally approved. The automated system was updated today. Here are the details:

Approved on 08/14/00

Sincere thanks to everyone for providing up-to-date information.

A few BTWs,
- message for my wife\'s case still says "Case not found". Hopefully everything is OK.
- my message changed from "Case not found" to "Your application was recvd. on ...." around 08/01/00.

WHAT A LONG STRANGE TRIP IT\'S BEEN !!!!!!!

Hi Nofear, thanks for posting the BTW. My message used to say: Case not found
and very recently changed to \'Your file was received on....\'. I suspected that meant
progress and your BTW comment does support that. mo\'waiting

Hi,

Our FP was done on June 15, 2000 (+/- 1 day)in Dover, DE even though we live in the Philly area. According to FBI, they were sent to the INS in a couple of days. So it took close to 2 months after FP for I485 approval.

I spoke to an IIO today about my wife\'s case. He said that he wasn\'t sure why they were not adjudicated at the same time; but "I would give it one more week". That sounds like a RFE to me. I have my fingers crossed... I guess it\'s not over yet. But, the fact that I am the primary applicant and my case has been approved gives me some hope. Anybody with similar experience or with any information, please reply.
