Hi,

I sent through ExpressMail-USPS and the Status is as follows with the tracking no:

Item was delivered at 12:10 pm on July 02, 2004 in SAINT LOUIS, MO 63195 to US BANK 63195. The item was signed for by V TOMISER

I am worried when i saw the US BANK. Can anyone please tell me whether you also got the simialr message or not? I sent money order, so i don't know whether it is encashed or not either.

Hi AJ

why can't u call the 1-800# on the money order so that the automated message will inform u about the status and when it is encashed.

i did the same thing.

Please advise

Hello,
My H1 visa stamp and I-94 in my passport expired in August 2003. I have a valid I-797 approval till Oct 2004 and I have applied for an H1 extension also. Do you think it is OK for me to go ahead and send to St.Louis today the application for visa revalidation? It will take about 10-15 days for the documents to reach Washington D.C and by the time they process the application, my visa would have expired more than a year. Do you think that is grounds for refusal? I am not willing to risk a refusal or a cancellation without prejudice. I am not planning to travel out of the country anytime soon. I know I can stay here legally as long as the I-94 on my I-797 is valid. Please advise. I appreciate your help.

See if you can reach the St.Louis office over phone and ask if there is any gentleman by that name who has signed your packet. I have not done thru USPS thou, may be others can help telling what their shipping status history shows.

This is the number I have from March thread.

DC office # 202-663-1225 option 1 & 0

Tell your Passport Number to trace it.

But as you know, thats DC number. Unfortunately I do not have STL number. Hope DC guys could help you out. In any case just check with USPS, why did they deliver to US Bank. Or may be call that bank (if possible) and see if you can get hold of someone by that name.

I assume your application is in safe place at St Louis Visa office thou, may be the tracking information is wrong. Please don't panic. Just wait and see.

I have also sent the USPS money order and express delivery to St louis, I also got the same person's name on Tracking confirmation from USPS. I called the DC number and found that, in St. Luois they ahve a US BAnk which collects and cashes the checks and sends to DC.
We should be in safe hand.

I sent my passport for revalidation on June 16th and received it today. I was expecting it to take 3 months at least and was really surprised to get the visa stamp done within less than a month.

My visa expires 9/15, I hope they let this slide as "expiring within 60 days", since it's actually 61 days (damn 31 day months). Hope I don't have to drag my family abroad....
