July FP2 with I485 RD 2002 filers lets get together

I am wondering how many July FP2 fellow filers still here waiting as so many Aug FP2 are getting their approvals?

My info:
I485 EB3 RD Aug 2002
FP2 July 2004
LUD: 7-31-04, 8-1-04 & 8-19-04
 
I have completed 60 days from my FP2. Not sure when they going to touch the case.
My scheduled date was 08/13. But I did early on 07/22.

My LUD changed twice 08/23 and 08/24. I don't know whether my clock starts from 07/22 or 08/13. I have sent a fax to FBI to find out name check. I am getting frustrated.

Please share your thoughts.
 
I know someone with same scenario.

FP2 in July and I-485 ND/RD in Nov. 2002 (EAC-03049*****).

He is still waiting with last LUD 07/14/2004.
 
FP2 -July 28

I did my FP2 as scheduled on July 28 in New York.

My details
RD Sept 4,02
ND Sept 17,02
FP1 results recd Oct 18, 02
FP2 results recd July 28, 04

FBI Name check -- No response.
 
Just got a call from FBI

Just got a call from FBI/Washington, They completed my name check on Sept 24th, 2004 and sent the results back to INS today. I feel if I hadnt' asked they probably would have sat on it for a while.. I left them 3 voicemails and sent one fax. started around mid August. So guys, if you have completed your 2nd FP and havent' heard from INS in about 4 weeks, Do check to see if Name check is completed.

Ak2002, i agree with your idea. I just send a fax to FBI.

I guess there might be several possible situations that could delay our applications after 2FP.
1) name check
2) EB3 is slower than EB2 (i am EB2)
3) bad luck

Luck is the first and last factor that seems to be affecting our case, why would our Name check be pending after 2 years of filing 485 when others are done in 6 months. when everything is soo random that no logic is applicable, it must really be luck.. we do everything in our power to track and expedite and are still at the mercy of a random and illogical processing.. that sure sounds like luck!!

on the other hand, it can't be bad luck. everything happens for the best.. lets just sit tight and wait for this storm to be over.. coz it sure will be!!

there are few people respond to my posting, i guess we are those being left behind.
 
I have done my FP on 7th Aug 2004 and I have also contact the local congressman's office for help. Waiting for Approval soon.......
 
Initiated an inquiry on Oct6th

I haven't contacted senators or house of representatives, still debating that.. have opened an inquiry though..
